Isabel Contreras Martin (1952-2024)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Isabel Contreras Martin, a vibrant and loving soul, on October 31st, 2024, at the age of 72.

Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, Isabel became a proud naturalized American citizen, residing in Gibsonton, Florida.  Her remarkable life embodied love, art, adventure and creativity.

As a devoted graphic designer, arts teacher at Instituto Psicopedagogico Infantil, wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law, Isabel's warmth touched countless hearts. Her loving family includes:

- Husband, Larry D. Martin
- Daughter, Monica Cordero Contreras
- Son, Luis Alonso Cordero Contreras
- Grandchildren, Dereck Vargas Cordero and Alek Vargas Cordero
- Step-children, Jeana Stelljes, Deana Martin-Owens, and Victoria Martin-Moran
- Sisters, Teresita and Nuria Contreras Ramirez

Isabel's passions shone bright:

Con profunda tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Isabel Contreras Martin, una alma vibrante y amorosa, el 31 de octubre de 2024, a la edad de 72 años.

Nacida en San José, Costa Rica, Isabel se convirtió en una orgullosa ciudadana estadounidense naturalizada, residente de Gibsonton, Florida. Su vida notable encarnó amor, arte, aventura y creatividad.

Como diseñadora gráfica dedicada y profesora de arte en el Instituto Psicopedagógico Infantil, esposa, madre, abuela y suegra, el calor de Isabel tocó innumerables corazones. Su familia amorosa incluye:
