TAYLOR, Irene G., 88, Lithia, FL, passed away
June 25, 2007.

Irene was born December 2, 1918 in Latham, IL to the late
Joseph and Dora (Wilkinson) Goretzke.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother,
Irene enjoyed over 20 assignments as she
supported her husband, Aubrey, during his 28 years of military service.

She enjoyed raising their three sons, sports, and especially
following her St. Louis Cardinals.

She was preceded in death in 2006 by their son, Dr. Jeffrey Taylor.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 62 years,
retired Lt. Col. Aubrey D. Taylor,
two sons, Michael (Elizabeth) Taylor,
Philip (Lynn) Taylor,
grandchildren,
Laura (Scott) Whitley,
Greg Taylor and Melonie Taylor,
great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Taylor Whitley,
Alexis Taylor Whitley,
brother, Neal (Jean) Goretzke, and
step-sisters, Vera Lewis and Mary Ann White.
A family service will be held Thursday, June 28, 2007
at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations
be made in memory of Irene to the
charity of choice.
