On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, Irene DJ Lady Ortiz, loving daughter, mother, and grandmother of six passed away at the age of 51.

Irene was born on April 4, 1968 in Manhattan, New York to Rosa and Victor Ortiz.

She had a deep passion for music. Had the opportunity to create two records, one called 'In my House' and the other 'Listen to the Beat'. She also had the opportunity to produce several songs. Most recently she completed her CompTIA A+ Certification for Technical Support and IT operational roles.

Irene loved to help others in need. She was an avid Atari collector. Irene was always full of joy; she had the ability to spread joy to others with just a warm smile. She was kind and had such a compassionate spirit and heart.

She is survived by her mother Rosa, daughter Jasmin, son-in-law Gene, and grandchildren, Anaxa, Shyla, Adonis, Leonidas, Noah, and Josiah, as well as host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10 am at St. Anne's Catholic Church 106 11 th Ave. NE Ruskin, FL 33570. Viewing will be held at Serenity Meadows 6919 Providence Rd. Riverview, FL from 2pm to 4pm.
