Irene Goodson, 82 of Brandon, FL passed away June 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Irene was born in Portland, Tennessee December 14,1939. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pate and Oma Deckard, her husband Leonard Carlton Goodson and her son Kirk Gordon Goodson. Irene is survived by her son 's Lydon Carl Goodson and Todd Samuel Goodson; grandchild Michelle Goodson, Sisters; Betty Music and (twin) Erline McLendon. Irene was a very loving mother and loved the Lord, she loved spending time in the yard working with flowers, spending time with family, listening to country music, traveling on family vacations to the Georgia mountains. She loved cats and children and they were equally delighted by her. She loved talking to people, even if she didn't even know them.  Her beautiful smile and charming spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
