Fontes, Irene, 84, of Largo , passed away on January 13, 2009 . Irene moved to the area 27 years ago from RI and was Catholic by faith. She is survived by her daughter, Diana St. John (Mike); sons, Joseph Fontes (Jean), Robert Fontes, Douglas Fontes (Donna), and Ralph Fontes; 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is survived by an extended loving family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
