Irene D. Evans, 76 of Seffner went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2021 while surrounded by her family in her home.
Irene was born in the Bronx, NY on January 16,1945 to Jose and Dalia Diaz.
Irene was admired by many for her love for the Lord and her faithfulness to her family and church. She was a long time, dedicated member at First Baptist Church of Brandon. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, always wanting to be part of the fun. She was an excellent cook and everyone especially loved her black beans.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband Clint of 49 years. She is survived by her loving family, her children Jennifer (Chris) Belcher, Eric Evans, Andrew (Christie) Evans and Regina (Mark) Lawrence, and daughter-in-love Felice Rogers; brothers Joe (Anita) Diaz and Dennis (Pat) Diaz; 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Irene will be remembered as a loving wife, mom and grandma.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home with burial to follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM just prior to her service.
