Irene L. Ayers, 81 of Lithia passed away August 18, 2010. Irene was a life long area resident. She graduated from Turkey Creek High School in 1946 and enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. Survivors include her sons; James (Doris) Ayers, Victor Ayers, brother; Earl Stewart, sisters; Vickie Hawley, Carol Nicholas, two grandchildren; Mary Colding Bush and James Ayers, three great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces with a special appreciation to Rhonda Dorin her niece and caregiver. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
