Patel, Indiraben Umedbhai, 78, of Brandon passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Born in India she had been a local resident since 1999 after moving here from India. She was a home maker who enjoyed caring for her family, cooking and classical Indian music. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Umedbhai; son, Hashmukh; daughters, Premila; Chandrika; brother, Shantilal; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:000 pm.
