Henry R. Stonerook, Sr., 92, of Valrico, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Mr. Stonerook had lived in Valrico since 2001 moving here from Okeechobee, Florida after retiring from Catawba Island, Ohio,. He was a retired plumber, a veteran of the U.S. Army, a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 10539 Okeechobee, Florida, and a member of the Okeechobee Masonic Lodge. He loved his family and boating; and enjoyed fishing and golf. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Nancy, son; Henry R. Stonerook, Jr. (Janet) of Westerville, OH., stepson; James Dunfee(Gerri) of Sandusky, OH., daughter; Susan Cochran (John) of Dover, FL., stepdaughters; Cheryl Wieber (Tom) of Port Clinton, OH. and Kymberli Cassidy (Michael) of Winter Park, FL., grandchildren; Amy Misch, Shaun Stonerook, Rebecca Smrekar, Angie Watts, Michael Cochran, Brandon Wieber, Laurie Kirschner, and Derek Wieber. Also surviving are four great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice. Services will be private.
