Helen Jane Newsome left us on Sept. 11, 2010. She has followed the footprints of her mother Elizabeth Harvey and her sisters Faye, Ann and Kay. She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Jim Newsome, her sister Bonnie Hodges, daughter Candace Wise, son Corey Newsome, grandchildren Jordan and Dylan Newsome and Delaney and Conner Wise. A 5th generation native Floridian, Helen was born in Jacksonville, FL on Sept. 12, 1946 and has lived in Jacksonville, Glen St. Mary, Miami, Altamonte Springs, Orlando, Apollo Beach, Brandon and recently Gibsonton. Family and friends will gather at noon on Thursday, Sept. 16th at Serenity Meadows Chapel in Riverview, FL for a memorial service to be held at 1pm.
