Harvey Rhoads , 86, of Brandon, Florida, passed away of natural causes on March 16, 2022 at Hospice House, Sun City, Florida. Harvey was born and raised in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He attended Reading High School. He was preceded by his father and mother, Paul and Mary (Wertz) Rhoads, his sons Barry and Timothy, his brother Donald and sister Shirley Mohr. He is survived by his wife, Helen, six sons and their spouses, Kerry (Nancy), Terry (Julia), Scott (Kathleen), Joel (Mildred), Roger (Judith), and Paul (Shannon), 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Harvey was an active member of the Lithia Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and served, as his health permitted, on the operating committee and with the local hospital visitation program. In addition to his ministry, he enjoyed camping and vacationing at the beach. Harvey worked as an industrial equipment salesman for Berkleigh Power Equipment in West Reading, PA, and in Florida for Cameron & Barkley, Tampa Armature Works, and retired from Power & Pumps.

A memorial service will be held virtually from the Lithia Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses on April 23, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jehovah's Witnesses' Worldwide Work at jw.org .
