Metheney, Harvey Ray, 3 months, of Tampa passed away on November 18th , 2015. Although so young in age he was able to become "A Superhero" to many. Harvey was born on August 8, 2015 to Derrick and Emerald Metheney. Such a short time to spend with him, Harvey will be remembered for his brilliant talents and his love he shared with many. Along with his parents, Harvey is survived by paternal grandparents; Whirley and Patricia Metheney, maternal grandparents; Denice McLaughlin (Richard), and Dale McLaughlin (Amber). Maternal great-grandparents; Don and Melody Mclaughlin, Sandee and Michael Galleon, and Julie Beasley. Uncles; Terry Metheney, and Darick McLaughlin. Paternal great-aunt and uncle; Cheryl and Kevin Culligan and great-great-aunt and uncle; Donna and Ronnie Potter, Maternal great-aunts; Juliet Galleon and Donna Kidwell, Maternal great-uncles; Alex and Richard Bennett. Along with the vast amount of extended family. He is proceeded in death by paternal great-grandparents Whirley and Rose Metheney, and Ray and Polly Potter, maternal great-grandfather Ray McKelvey, and maternal great-great-grandfather Joe. A Memorial service will take place on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 6:08pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:30pm to the start of the service. Harvey will always be that special piece to everyone's heart.
