Evans, Hansford "Clinton", 73, of Seffner, went home to be with the Lord, while surrounded by his family, on April 26, 2017. Clint was born in Tampa on May 7, 1943 to Hansford "Hamp" and Mary Nell Evans.
He was admired by many for his faith and his faithfulness to his family and church. Clint served as an active deacon for more than 40 years, and was a long time, dedicated member at First Baptist Church of Brandon. He enjoyed making memories with his family, working in his yard and riding his John Deere Tractor "Drucilla".
Clint is survived by his loving family, wife of 49 years, Irene; his children, Jennifer (Chris) Belcher, Eric Evans, Andrew (Christie) Evans, and Regina (Mark) Lawrence, daughter-in-love, Felice Evans; sisters, Janice Fender and Joyce Tharp; 17 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Clint will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. There will be a visitation on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm.
