Hankins, Gregory C. "Greg", 55, of Tampa, passed away on February 22, 2014. He graduated from Leto High School, class of '76. Greg was an IBEW Union member and retired from Tampa Electric, where he was known as "Hanky", after 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marilyn Hankins; and brother, Kenny Hankins. Greg is survived by his loving family, wife of 18 years, Phyllis; daughter, Amanda (Chris) Wink; brother, Rick Hankins; sister, Diane Edwards; grandchildren, Christopher, Camryn and Chesnee; numerous nieces and nephews; and close family friend, Joyce Swanson. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A committal service will take place on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
