Glenn Michael Lendel, 49, of Valrico, FL passed away at his home on June 24. Glenn was born August 14,1972 in Buffalo, NY.
He was preceded in death by his Father Edward. He will be survived by his Mother Julia, His loving Wife Nicole, Sons Cole, Jonah, and Noah, his siblings Cynthia (Randy) Szukala, Patricia (Thomas) Brosius, Wendy (Terry Hall) Lendel, Thomas (Jamie) Lendel, and Timothy (Monica) Lendel, and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Buffalo, NY and graduating from North Tonawanda High School, and then achieving his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Niagara County Community College, he then went on to attain his Bachelor Degree in Sociology from State University College at Buffalo. He then moved west. Starting his career and married life in 1996 as a Federal Agent for the United States Border Patrol in Chula Vista, CA until 2001 when the family moved to Fort Gratiot, MI and became a Father for the first time. Glenn and family lived in Fort Gratiot until moving to Valrico, FL in 2012. He became very involved in his community in Florida. He volunteered at the YMCA as a Soccer and Basketball coach. He also coached basketball with the AAU, and Durant High School. He was an avid golfer and longtime member and officer of the golf league at Bloomingdale Golf Club. He was also an active member of Nativity Catholic Church. Having moved across the nation he stayed loyal to his Buffalo Bills, and Buffalo Sabres, he also enjoyed and was a fan of the local home team Tampa Bay Lightning. You could also find Glenn fishing, playing cards, bowling, camping, hiking, or where he loved to be the most, spending time with his family.
