Glenice "Gran" Arlene Burnett

Glenice 85, a lifelong resident of Gibsonton, Florida joined the love of her life in Heaven peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 18, 2023. She was married to Harley "Pops" Burnett for 56 years. Together they had 4 boys. Mike (Shelly), Randy (Sheila), Wesley (Vicki) and Jeff. Together their boys gave them 16 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Large family gatherings were some of her favorite times. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother we could have ever asked for. She loved to eat and she loved to cook for her family.

Glenice loved to travel, the Smoky Mountains were one of her favorite destinations. This was a yearly trip for her and she would talk about it all year long. Glenice was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Gibsonton where she loved singing in the choir, attending Sunday School and of course the after church lunch on Sundays.

Glenice is preceded in death by her husband Harley, son Jeffrey, her fur daughter Lily, brother Dwight (Myra Lee) and parents Lowman and Leola Adams.

The family will receive friends and guests starting at 10am and the service will begin at 11am. Food and fellowship will immediately follow at the Showmen's Club in the Carousel Room located at 6915 Riverview, FL 33578. Food can be dropped off any time after 9am.
