Geronimo Tomas "Macho" Cuevas died peacefully in Brandon Hospital on June 15, 2024, in Brandon, Florida at the age of 92.

Geronimo is survived by his estranged wife, Leyda Urbina, his children, Alfredo Cuevas, Gilda Cuevas, Miriam Cuevas, and Esperanza Cuevas. He is preceded in death by his father, Tomas Aquino Cuevas, his mother, Maria Rodriguez Sanchez, his wife, Ramona Acela Cuevas and his granddaughter Stephanie Mammen.

Geronimo was born on September 30, 1931, in Santa Clara, Cuba and was a devoted family man who was passionate about politics, fishing, and walking for his health.

At his request, there will be no funeral service nor viewing. The family would like to thank his caregivers and hospital staff for their efforts, care, and dedication.
