Geraldine
Mccaulley
September 23, 1930 — August 6, 2018
Geraldine McCaulley, born September 23, 1930, in Madison, Alabama, fell peacefully asleep in death on August 6, 2018. She spent most of her adult life in Ohio where she founded Chenita Nursing homes in 1969 and with her husband and family expanded to McCaulley and Mifflin Care Centers. Her caring and nurturing nature were well known throughout the city of Mansfield, the location of her nursing homes. She had exquisite taste in designing and decorating. She was generous of heart and participated in sharing the good news of God's Kingdom with others, but she was not flawless in all her decisions.
She was preceded in death by her father Henry Kibble and mother Courtney Moore, ex-husband, Alan J. McCaulley II; her son, James A McCaulley III; her sister Ernestine Hess. Loving family she leaves behind are her daughter, Cheryl and son-in-law Ronald E. Hyde of Brandon, Fl.; grandchildren, Chenessa V. Marbrey of Gahanna, Ohio, James A. McCaulley IV of Columbus, Ohio, Kisha L. Hyde-Franklin of Brandon Fl., Rodrick D. Hyde of Riverview, Fl., 10 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; nieces Patricia Fay Crumpler, Lawanda Kay Braggs; nephew Erskine Braggs, Herman Ray Braggs.
Memorial services will be held August 25, 2018 at 4 p.m., at the West Brandon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, officiated by Ronald E. Hyde. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to jw.org or The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc. which promotes the good news of God's Kingdom. Family will gather at a private residence.
