Kendall, Geraldine Jernigan Roe, 83, born July 17, 1932 passed away August 4, 2015. She was born in Jena Louisiana. Her family settled there before the Louisiana Purchase. She passed away at 1:08 pm and was one parent with eight children: who raised all of her children in Tampa her entire life. In the 70's she visited Israel and fell in love with the country and its people. She lived in Israel for four years before returning to the U.S. Geraldine passed peacefully from this earth surrounded by her children and grandchildren and was received in the open arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents Annie & Henry Jernigan and siblings: Benjamin, James, Myrtle, Myrtis, Shirley, and Gary. Geraldine leaves behind her beloved children, grandchildren, great grandchildren with whom she left legacy of love and faith in Jesus Christ. Geraldine is survived by her brother, William Henry; her children: James Roe (Linda), Margaret Barrett (Michael), Cyndi Roe, Betty Terry (Jackie), Sam Roe (Denise), John Roe, Vicki McGinnis (Tim), and Dena Ham (Tim); 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will take place Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00 am Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, Riverview FL.
