Kellogg, Geraldine, 74 of Brandon, Florida, died on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Brandon Regional Hospital. Gerry was born on June 24, 1943, in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from Girls' Latin School and Boston State College. She taught English, French and ESL all over the country, including in Brandon. The greatest joy of Gerry's life was her devoted and beloved husband, Frank, who preceded her in death. Her other joys were her faith, her family, music and drama. Gerry is survived by four siblings: Rosemary Turner of York, Maine, Joseph Sullivan, Jr. and his wife Katherine of Kittery, Maine, Patricia Butler and her husband Ernest of Norwell, Massachusetts and Maureen Gareau of Almonte, Ontario, Canada. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law: Ann Kellogg (Mary Lynn Endter) of Sarasota, Florida and Patricia Hoag of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a member of Saint Stephen Catholic Church and was very thankful for the rosary group that came to Alafia Village, where she lived for many years. Gerry was a very remarkable woman, always gracious and kind with a fantastic sense of humor. Her home was always welcome to family and friend, who enjoyed her great cooking. She will be sorely missed. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 10118 Saint Stephen Circle, Riverview, FL at 11:30 am on December 12th in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, 1040 Woodcock Road, Suite 119, Orlando, FL.
