Gerald “JJ” Bergquist Jr., a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 46 on May 31, 2026, in Riverview, Florida.

JJ was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be remembered for the laughter, love, and comfort he brought to those around him. The memories he created with those closest to him will be cherished always.

Family meant everything to JJ, and his memory will live on through the people who loved him most. Though his passing leaves a profound loss, his family finds comfort in knowing he was surrounded by love in his final moments.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Wiley; his father, Gerald Bergquist Sr.; his stepfather, Dave Wiley; his sisters, Christina Stansberry and Sheri Bergquist; and his grandparents, John and Shirley Pittman. He is also survived by his nephews and friends who loved him dearly.

JJ’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
