Gene Allen Trimble, Sr., 81, of Valrico, FL, passed away on February 28, 2018.

Gene was born in Eddystone, PA on November 24th 1936. He graduated from Eddystone High School in 1954, and served in the United States Army from 1956-1958.

Gene was married to Evelinda Decena Eustaquio on January 30th 1960; they were married 58 years.

Gene worked as a Storeroom and Project Manager for Philadelphia Electric Company for 35 years and retired in 1991 from the Peach Bottom Generating Station. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling, but most of all he cherished spending his time with his children and grandchildren. Post- retirement he lived in Mesa Arizona where he got to enjoy his lifelong passion of living in the southwest.  In 1998 he moved to Florida to be closer to his children and grandchildren.

Gene is survived by his wife Evelinda, his two children Cindy Zimmerman (Fiancee Bud McDaid) and Gene Trimble, Jr.  (Spouse Angelyn Trimble), Jr., his four grandchildren;  Jami and Nikki Zimmerman, Amber and Alexis Trimble.

Gene is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Helen Trimble, Harold "Buddy" Trimble, Idalie "Tootsie" Bruce, Delma Chichester and son-in-law Steve Zimmerman.
