Gabriel M Marrero, Jr, "White Boy", of Rochester, NY, Shreveport, LA, and Brandon, FL passed away suddenly on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the age of 62. He is predeceased by his father, Gabriel M Maldonado, Sr; mother, Josephine; and best friend, "Squeaky." He is survived by his fianc, Deborah Hale; son, Gabriel M Marrero III; daughters, Bianca and Aubrey Marrero, and Heather Hale; granddaughters, Jasenya Perkins and Aria Tudisco; close family members, Melinda Tucker, Jamie (Lisa) Johnson and family, Carmen, Thomas, and Chepo Santiago, Robert Reyes, Vanessa and Paquito, and Jeffery Hale, along with all the additional friends that he welcomed as family. Gabe retired in 2006 with 31 years of service from Rochester Products/Delphi/Shreveport GM. He enjoyed working on and rebuilding cars along with traveling from state to state to meet new people. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made out to The Diabetes Association in his name.
