WINTER HAVEN. Frederick A. Stoiber was born June 3, 1925 in Lindenhurst, NY to Frank and Anna Stoiber. Frederick passed away on March 16, 2015 due to natural causes. He was predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth, daughter Darleen Jarvis, and grandson Daniel Jarvis. He is survived by brother Jerome Stoiber; daughters Diana Anderson of Brandon, FL and Julia Thompson of Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren Michael Wilson (Meghan), Tracy Wilson, Patricia Jarvis, Heather Carr, Paige Byrnes, Gordon Anderson, John Thompson, and Peter Thompson (April). He lived in Bay Shore, NY, North Babylon, NY and Miami, FL before moving to Winter Haven in 1991. Frederick served briefly in the United States Navy in 1942. After the service he worked in the Aircraft Industry in New York until 1965. After moving to Miami in 1965, he worked for Security Plastics as a Quality Control Inspector until 1991 when he retired. He was dearly remembered by family, friends and neighbors for his ability to make anything with his hands. He enjoyed boating, fishing, gunsmithing, and growing plants, especially orchids.
