Kellogg, Franklin Edward Jr., age 68, of Brandon, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Brandon Hospital. Frank was born on April 22, 1944, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, the son of Franklin and Lorraine (Friedl) Kellogg. After attending Edgewood High School in Madison, and playing guard on the football team, Frank attended Loras College and graduated from Marquette University with a philosophy degree. He later received a BS degree in Elder Care Management from the University of South Florida. On June 23, 1973, Frank married Geraldine Sullivan, in Boston, Massachusetts. Before his retirement, Frank served as a Federal Bank Liquidator for the FDIC, and worked for several banks in the Tampa area. The greatest joys of Frank's life included his devoted wife Gerry, his Church, his family, and his favorite sports teams: The Boston Red Sox, The Milwaukee Brewers, The Green Bay Packers, and the Wisconsin Badgers. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Geraldine Kellogg; three sisters, Ann Kellogg (Mary Lynn Endter) of McFarland, WI, Carol Kellogg of West Bend, WI, and Patricia Hoag of Waukesha, WI; nephews Christopher and Matthew Hoag; and niece, Molly Kellogg. Frank is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law: Rosemary and Al Turner, Joseph and Katherine Sullivan, Patricia and Ernest Butler, and Maureen Gareau, plus many other nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine (1944), step-mother Eileen (2001), his sister Margaret (1965), and his father, Franklin Sr. (1990). A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013, at St. Stephens Catholic Church 5049 Bell Shoals Rd., Valrico, FL. Friends may call at the church from 9:30am to the start of the service. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Kidney Foundation, or Edgewood High School, Madison, WI. Frank now has the best seat in the house for March Madness.
