Obituary

FRANK ANTHONY SCOTT SR, 80 years old.

Frank was born on March 26, 1940 and went to be with the Lord August 10, 2020.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Scott, his six children Frank Anthony Scott Jr, Thomas Lynwood Scott (Tylene Scott), Lon Prevatt, Candace Holliday (Jamie Holliday), Crystal Schwilk (Ralf Schwilk) and Carrie Foegen along with eighteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, his brothers Lynwood Scott (Kay Scott) and John Scott (Joy Scott) and a large circle of family and friends.

Preceded in death, parents Link and Annie Scott, sister Betty Koch, brother Verlyn Scott, and grandson Joshua Belliveau.

Frank's love for the Lord and the Gospel was his first and foremost priority.  He was called into the ministry as a young man, just in his early 20's and served the Lord for over 58 years before he retired from ministry.  However, of course, he never fully retired from ministry.  His love of God and the importance to share and spread God's amazing grace was every part of who he was and his being.  His knowledge of God's word was always expressed with love, understanding, and compassion for all. He never wavered from God's love and presence. His main goal in life was to help others come to know the Lord.

Frank's love and commitment to family was immense.  The love he has for Sandy was a sweet love.  He loved protecting her heart and being the man that walked beside her.  Frank was the rock of the family.  If any of the kids or grandkids needed advice or had questions about their faith, family, relationships, or anything else life threw at them, you would often hear the words "Call Grandpa".  He would listen with an open heart and ear to which he responded with as much love you could stand and with no judgement.

Frank's love for the Western part of the United States was a deep love.  Most of his and Sandy's vacations were out west. You would find Frank wearing his duster, cowboy hat, boots, and a pair of jeans.  He was the true definition of a "wanna be cowboy".  Most would say as well, a professional camper.  He loved it with all his heart.

There are so many words to describe Frank: trusted friend, mentor, confidant, role model, brave, sincere, loving, compassionate, and the absolute best advice giver.  He will always be Our Pastor, the best husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.  Every second of every day he will be missed greatly.
