Lombard, Frank M. Sr., 82, of Valrico, passed away on April 2, 2011. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. Frank proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was employed with the Westinghouse Electric Corporation for 30 years where he was the Engineering Service Manager for the South East Area and was associated with the implementation of the TIA shuttle management and maintenance. Frank is survived by his loving family, wife of 60 years, Mary Ann; sons, Frank Lombard Jr, Daniel (Cheri) Lombard and Gary (Susan) Lombard; daughters, Sandra (Richard) Ballou, Carol Lombard and Mary Ann (Matt) Waldbart; sisters, Dorothy (Eugene) Love and Anna Mae Cathell; grandchildren, Michael, Brooke, Kyle, Lisa, Brittany, Emily, Ryan, Scott, Brian and Philip. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 10:30 am at Nativity Catholic Church Chapel. Frank will be laid to rest at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, Chapel of the Palms.
