Frances M. Harring, a resident of Brandon FL, passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2017. Full of life at 80, Fran was in constant motion, whether in service to the local military retiree community, classes at USF extension, or involvement with the Brandon community or travel. "Fran" was also involved with the Veteran's Memorial Park, Gold Star Mothers, and other military related volunteer efforts.
Spouse to Anthony Uihlein Harring (LTC-US Army, deceased), she raised three boys while the family lived in places such as Germany, Ft. Riley, KS, Ft. Leavenworth, KS Ft. Hood, TX and elsewhere during "Tony's" 20 year Army career.
"Fran" quietly endured the inconveniences of a military spouse, expertly executing dozens of moves and navigating the uncertainty of her husband's two postings to Vietnam combat zones. After Tony retired, Fran became a real estate professional and was active with the Brandon Chamber of Commerce as well as marketing the family business A QUICK SIGN.

Fran is survived by her sons; Jeffery G. Harring of Largo, FL, James A. Harring, of Land O' Lakes, FL, and Michael A. Harring, of Brandon FL. She is also survived by daughters-in-law Sandy Windham and Jeanice Harring, grandchildren Matthew Harring, Pinellas Park, FL and Kathryn Harring, Largo FL, along with her great grandchild Grayson. She is preceded in death by her older sister Joan Stedge, Alexandria, VA.

We are heartbroken over her unexpected death, yet forever grateful for her life and the Joie de vivre she infused in everyone around her.

She is scheduled to be interred August 4, 2017, at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, FL, her ashes alongside her husbands, together in the afterlife, as they were in life.
