Frances Monique Boucher "Monique" of Brandon, Florida passed away February 28, 2022 at the age of 62 in the comfort of her home. Born in Washington, D.C. on December 5, 1959 and raised in Maryland, she graduated from Northern High School class of 1977. She moved to Stuart, Florida where she cared for her children and was involved in many activities surrounding their schools and the community.

She was preceded in death by her father Francis Jules Boucher. Monique is survived by her mother Troy Elaine Boucher; sister Michele Boucher Johnson (husband William Johnson and daughter Shelby Johnson); son Michael Andrew Barrett (wife Chelsea Barrett); daughter Chantel Boucher Morris (husband Corey Morris); grandchildren Jasey Rae, Forrest Michael, Madison Boucher, and Hunter Rose.

Monique loved to be outside and near the water, whether it be kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, or just walking the beach looking for shark teeth and seashells. With a kind heart and caring soul, Monique was a friend and mom to all. She loved being a mother for her two children and making sure they had the best childhood a mother could provide, and continued that love with her grandchildren. Her hobbies included gardening, raising caterpillars to release as butterflies, and also loving and caring for her cats, all which gave her great joy.

A celebration of life will be held for friends and family on Stuart Beach at a later date.
