Pollock, Dr. Forrest Eugene, 44, Senior Pastor of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, passed away on May 12, 2008. Forrest served as Senior Pastor of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, "The Fellowship of Encouragement," since 2002. Forrest was born in Oklahoma City, OK and married Dawn Allen in 1990. He was currently working toward a Master's degree from Harvard University. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a Doctorate of ministry in 1998 and a Master of divinity in 1994, he also earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Oklahoma in 1986.

Forrest is survived by his loving family, wife of 17 years, Dawn; sons, Blake and Kirk; daughters, Courtney, Brooke and Hope; mother and step father, Eva and Earl Sprinkle of Marion, NC; step brother, Stacy Pollock of Oklahoma City, OK; step sister, Tracey Chappell of Edmond, OK.

A Celebration of Pastor Forrest's life, along with his son, Preston's, is scheduled for Saturday, May 17 at Bell Shoals Baptist Church. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. A Fellowship Reception will follow. Forrest will be laid to rest in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
