Sneed, Floyd, 80, of Valrico, passed away on December 17, 2007. Floyd moved to Florida in 1980 from Amherst, Ohio. He worked 17 years for the Ridge Tool Company in Ohio. He retired from Twin Builders Construction in Tampa, where he worked as a bricklayer and carpenter. Floyd enjoyed working in the garden and was known to have a green thumb.
He is survived by his loving family, wife of 62 years, Yvonne; son R.D. "Bob" Sneed; daughter, Mary Ann (Marty) Stone; sisters, Margaret Crabb, Johnnie Ruth Hill, DeEtta Stephens; brother, Bill Sneed; grandchildren, Andrea Meglii and Janet Stone; great grandsons, Austin Stone and Erick Meglii. Floyd will be missed by many dear friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2007 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Floyd's Life at 3:00 p.m.
