Scannell, Florence "Connie", 73 of Valrico, went to be in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on February 13, 2018. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  Connie loved reading the Bible, having dinners out with her husband, and making memories with her children and grandchildren. Family meant the world to her. To know Connie was to love her; a beautiful person on the inside and out. Her smile, warmth, and generosity touched all who met her. She will be deeply missed.  She is survived by her loving family, husband of 49 years, James Scannell; son, James Scannell; daughter, Cynthia (Seth) Dorotich, sister, Nathle (Robert) Balewicz; and three grandchildren, Zachary, Grey, and Owen. There will be a memorial mass on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Stephen Catholic Church followed by burial at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park. Donations may be made in Connie's name to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance - ocrfa.org .
