Camero, Florence Marilyn, 77, of Valrico, Florida passed away on 28 August, 2015. Florence was born the daughter of George Francis Daland Griggs and Florence Ella (Claire) Griggs in Philadelphia, PA in 1938. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a devoted Army Wife. Marilyn made friendships easily with many lasting a lifetime. She endured many health issues from a very early age, but she was a true fighter. She smiled, laughed, loved, and drank her Cuban coffee until her very last day. She is survived by her children, Melinda, Michael, Matthew, and Marcus; grandchildren, Megan, Catharine, and Maxine; and brothers, George and Robert Griggs. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 54 years, Octavio "Chris" Camero Jr. Memorial Services will be at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 4:00 pm, the family will greet guests one hour prior. She will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
