RIFNER, Flora Arlene, 79, of Riverview, peacefully passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Vollie R. Rifner. They have 5 children, Shannon Nestor (Daniel), Vollie B. Rifner (Debra), Mary Beechler (Joseph), Paul Rifner (Kimberly) and Peter A. Rifner Sr (Cheryl); 10 grandchildren, Patrick Nestor, David Nestor, Rachel Neil, Stephen Rifner, Katlin Beechler, Lindsay Steelman, Jarad Rifner, Peter A Rifner Jr, Justin Rifner and Gerald Rifner; and 3 great grandchildren, Ellie, Allison and Leanna. Flora is also survived by brothers Norman Woodworth and Larry Woodworth and many nieces and nephews. Flora was an active member of Riverview United Methodist Church. She loved to square and round dance, making all of her dancing clothes, and was a member of the Bay Area Square and Round Club since 1985. Besides sewing she was very talented in floral arranging, baking (she won some national awards), making bead jewelry and various crafts. Viewing will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017, 6 pm to 8 pm, at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home and the funeral service will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 1 pm at Serenity Meadows.
