Flor D. Zapata, 85, of Tampa, FL., passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Sun City Center Hospice House. Born on February 27, 1935 in Caldas, Colombia to the proud parents of Joaquin Gaviria & Carmen Emilia Parra.

The Zapata family has suffered the unexpected loss of our beloved wife, mother, sister and aunt.  We know that all who have known Flor throughout her life would want to pay final respects to the memory they have of her. We encourage a celebration of her memory, unique to the relationship she had with each of you. She was respected and loved dearly by so many.

We appreciate the part everyone has played in her life's journey. She was a loving, caring and giving woman, loved by many and will be remembered lovingly always.

A Funeral Service will be held at Serenity Meadows Memorial Funeral Park, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 4:00pm with the family receiving friends from 1:00 to 4:00PM prior to the service.
