Horne, Essie Mae, 75, of Tampa, Fl. went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2014. She was born on July 22, 1938 in Madison County, Fl. to the late W. Wilson and Ruby Willie Knowles Wilson. She was married to Walter L. Horne, Jr. who preceded her in death on May 28, 2005. She was a daycare worker with the Providence Baptist Church School. Mrs. Horne has been a member of the Providence Baptist Church since 1967. Essie is survived by daughters; Carol Jean Harris, Linda (David) Brownell, Teresa (Keith) Bloomfield, sons; Kenny Horne, Darrell (Deanna) Horne, Dwayne (Dorcas) Horne, 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brothers; Edward (Kathy) Wilson, Frank (Gayle) Wilson, sisters; Nellie Scott, Annie Mae (John) McMillan, Rosa Lee (Lyle) Foss. Essie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son Richard Ray Horne, and a daughter Cindy Ann Horne. A Funeral service will be held on Monday January 27, 2014 at 11am at Providence Baptist Church Riverview, Fl. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. orne
