Essie L. Folsom, 89, of Tampa, FL., passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021.  Born on October 1, 1931 in Shady Grove, FL to the proud parents of George Washington & Blannie Blanton English, she was a homemaker.  Essie moved to the area in 1948 and she was a member of the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church.  She loved to travel with her brothers and sisters.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 67 years, Eugene Folsom; her sisters: Mavis Hamm and Myrtle Eubank; brothers: Autumn English and Felton English and her grandson, Joshua.  Survivors include her loving sons: Danny E. (Marie) Folsom, Jeffrey W. (Melody) Folsom and Michael A. Folsom; her brothers: Austin English, Franklin English, Ander English, George English and Wayne English: her sisters: Dessie King, Adell Snead and Margie Shefield; her grandchildren: Christopher, Cynthia, Jacquelin, Kailey, Zoey, Melissa & Kyle; her great-grandchildren: Jack, Bailey, Gavin, Carloine, Mylee, Kate, Chloe, Carley, Maximus and Christian.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, Riverview, FL. with family receiving fiends one hour prior to her service.
