Ernest F. Donini, 83 of Brandon passed away on Tuesday March 20, 2012. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia he had been a local resident since 1952. He was a retired business owner of Superior Seafoods with his family for over 50 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in the Korean War and was a longtime member of Nativity Catholic Church. As a devoted family man, Mr. Donini enjoyed working and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a devoted man and friend who always put the needs of others first. As a caring and compassionate man he touched the hearts of every individual he ever met. Survivors include his son, Ernest N. (Kathi) Donini; daughters, Virginia (Dennis) Folsom; Tina (Jay) Ayers; Teresa Munson; brother Virgil Donini and sister, Mildred Spear. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Vigilio and Virginia Donini and his brother John. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church with Fr. Arthur Proulx officiating. Burial with military honors will follow mass at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
