With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved son, Erik Alvarez, on December 5, 2024.

Erik was born on June 10, 1983 in Elizabeth, NJ. Attended elementary, middle, and started high school in Old Bridge, NJ. He graduated high school at Deer Valley High School in Antioch, CA.

He attended Sacramento State University to pursue a degree in Management of Information Systems where he pledged and became a member of the Delta Chi fraternity. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2014 from DeVry University with a degree in Network and Communications Management.

His career consisted in multiple progressive positions at Heritage Community Credit Union in California, British Telecom in New Jersey, and most recently Digital Hands in Tampa, FL.

Erik was a passionate New York Giants fan as well as gaming enthusiast.

He is survived by his parents, Ennis and Diana Alvarez, his sister Adrienne Dominguez, his brother-in- law Hazael E. Dominguez, his nephew Aries Dominguez, his niece Olivia Dominguez, his grandmother Ernestina Ruiz, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

We will forever miss his laughter, love, and humor. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

A service will be held at Serenity Meadows funeral home (6919 Providence Rd, Riverview, FL 33578) Friday December 13 at 4 pm. A catholic blessing will be held at 6pm at the funeral home.
