Emilia Miranda, 69, of Seffner, Florida, peacefully passed away on October 30, 2025, in Plant City after a short battle with cancer.

Born on December 24, 1955, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Emilia was the beloved daughter of Altagracia Scognamillo (Miranda) and Ernest Scognamillo.

Emilia was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Altagracia Scognamillo, and her daughter, Alina Dominguez. She is survived by her daughters, Allison deGuzman (Joachim) and Sonia Dominguez (Tony); her sisters, Milady Rona and Jacqueline Perez; and her cherished grandchildren, Siena deGuzman, Lynn-Li deGuzman, and Sophia Hernandez.

Emilia will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence brought light and comfort to those around her, and her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Her remains will be interred at a later date.
