PELT-TOMKIEWICZ, Eltis E., 85, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2009 with family by her side. Eltis was born in Montgomery, Alabama on August 8, 1923 to Leslie B. Pelt and Minnie L. Holland-Pelt.. She is survived by her children Sandra F. Carter-Curci, Woodrow C. Carter and William J. Johnson and sister, Margaret Tiller. She joins her beloved husband, Joseph F. Tomkiewicz, who passed on September 16, 2008. Nana will always be remembered for bringing her family together around the holidays. She was the backbone of our family with 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren and we will always cherish her memory. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on February 24, 2009 at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
