Boyd, Ella, M. 77, of Tampa passed away on November 10, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 2, 1935 in Grundy, Virginia to the late Joseph and Clara (Keene) Carter. Ella was the wife of Newton Boyd with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Ella had a green thumb and would always be working in her garden. Along with her husband, Ella is survived by a son Larry (Moira) Boyd, two daughters; Faye (Larry) Whitehurst, and Patty (Larry) Hatfield, and a large circle of grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ella was preceded in death by a son Newton Boyd, Jr. and a daughter Brenda Kay Watson. Ella deeply loved her family and will be missed by all that know her.
