Hopkins, Elizabeth Carlin, 60, passed away on September 7, 2011. Elizabeth moved to Valrico, FL from Baltimore, MD. She received her Bachelors of Arts from Hollins University, her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and her Masters in Accounting from the University of South Florida. She was a longstanding partner with Herman Lagor and Hopkins which recently merged with Brimmer Burek and Keelan. She served as the Treasurer and Past President of the Child Abuse Council in Tampa. Elizabeth was also an accomplished Bridge player and participated in several tournaments. She is preceded in death by her husband, Major USMC Stephen Day Hopkins, Sr. Elizabeth is survived by her loving son, Stephen; and her extended family and friends. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a gathering one hour prior.
