Tanase, Elena, 81, of Brandon passed away on November 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Elena was born on February 21, 1931 in Dolina, Romania to the late Grigore and Aglaia (Irimia) Stefanovici. She was the widow of Petru Tanase who passed away in 1996. Elena is survived by a son Lee and daughter in law Gabriela Tanase, and three granddaughters; Alessandra, Bryanna, and Stefannie Tanase. Elena was preceded in death by a brother Costel Stefanovici. The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2012 at 7pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A viewing will be from 5:30pm to the start of the service. Burial for Elena will take place on Thursday November 15, 2012 at 11am at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
