Grubbs, Eleanor L., 84, of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 in Brandon, FL. She was a long term resident of Gainesville, retiring from Southern Bell Telephone Co. She was a member of North Central Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Edna Grubbs and sister, Claire Acuff. Eleanor is survived by her brother, Charles Grubbs of Valrico, FL; nieces, Jeanne (Chuck) Phipps of Charlotte, NC; Vicki (Paul) Vasiloff of Valrico, FL; nephew, Randy (Donna) Grubbs of Oviedo, FL; great-nieces, Jennifer, Lindsay, Katie, Allison and Melissa; great-nephews, Charlie, Taylor and Daniel; cousins, Monica Aiton and Rodgers (Marleen) Aiton of Gainesville and several other cousins. Graveside services will be held at a later date at McIntosh Cemetery, McIntosh, FL. Services provided by Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, Riverview, FL.
