Jacobs, Elbert Charles (Jake), born in Wauchula, Florida on February 21, 1926 to Charles Edward and Addie Loraine Austin Jacobs, went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2014. He is survived by 5 children, "CB" Berkley (Laura) Jacobs, "EB" Bruce (Lucy) Jacobs, Darline (Mike) O'Brien, Debbie Meyers and Loraine Bell as well as 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service for Jake will be on Thursday, February, 20, 2014 at 11:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior. He will be laid to rest in Hackney Cemetery. There will be a reception East Tampa Christian Church immediately following services.
