Elaine Majorie (Boucher) Jillson, 89, of Riverview Florida, passed away July 5th, 2023 at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Riverview.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Boucher and Marie Rose Viau, her husband Ernest Jillson, her oldest daughter Diane Conley, her sister Thelma Spaulding and brother Norman Boucher. Elaine is survived by her two sons Ernest and Michael Jillson, two daughters Susan Martin and Tracy Shaw, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother Henry and sister-in-law Rose Boucher of Saint Albans, Vt. and brother-in-law Kenneth Spaulding of Brockton, Mass.

Elaine was born in Winooski, Vermont, and grew up in Burlington, where she met the love of her life, Ernest.  They were married in Burlington in 1957 and later moved to Brockton Massachusetts, where they spent the next 50 years raising their five children.

As a parishioner of Saint Nicholas Church, she volunteered in its CCD program for many years and enjoyed participating in their candlepin bowling leagues and bingo.  She also loved being out in the sun, gardening or just sitting reading a book.

Elaine and her husband Ernest later moved to Riverview Florida to live out their senior years closer to family members.

Elaine's memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, August 16th at Resurrection Catholic Church in Riverview, Florida.
