Byrd, Edwina A. 83 of Valrico, FL passed away on August 29, 2010. She was born in Stone County, MSApril 8, 1927. She had relocated from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Valrico, FL in 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Byrd in 1977.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn (Bob) Goodman of Valrico, FL and Sandra (Billy) Varoli of Deerfield Beach, FL., a sister, Martha Carlisle of Palestine, TX, a brother, Elwood Alexander of Temple, TX, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Chapel with memorial service beginning at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Brandon Foundation, 216 N, Parsons Avenue, Brandon, FL33510
