Edwin (Ed) R. Walliser, (90), of Sun City Florida, passed away on December 23,2025 in the care of Life Path Hospice in Sun City Center, Florida after a brief illness.

Ed was born in Burglen, Switzerland to Robert and Rosa Walliser on April 6, 1935. He completed his education in Burglen and became an apprentice cheesemaker. Ed's greatest dream from the time he was a boy was to immigrate to the USA. He worked and saved many years to make that dream come true. After immigrating and working in a cheese factory in Utah, Ed joined the United Stated Air Force with tours in South Korea. He became a naturalized citizen in Texas while in the military and began to pursue the American Dream. He married Connie in 1957 and they shared 53 years together. Ed worked for Standard Oil Company but pursued other opportunities in his quest for the American Dream. In 1975 he retired from Standard Oil to pursue full time farming and Walliser Pork Inc. was born. He retired from active farming in 2000. Ed's greatest need was met when he met Jesus Christ and dedicated his life to serving him. He became an avid Bible scholar and taught Sunday School continuously for 55 years. He was always ready to share the Good News of Jesus. His deep faith deeply impacted his family and all who knew him.

Ed is preceded in death by his wife Connie Walliser, his parents and siblings.

Ed is survived by his wife Anne Walliser His children Kathy Walliser Hosea (Randall), Karl Walliser (Kim), Tony Walliser (Susan) and Troy (Amy) as well as 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Saturday December 27,2025 at Trinity Baptist Church, Sun City Center, FL

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church, Sun City Center, FL. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Serenity Meadows in Riverview,FL

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the "Trinity Baptist Church Missionary Fund" or "LifePath Hospice, Sun City Center, FL".
