Edwin Lee Stenzel, 84, of Sun City Center, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011. Born in East St. Louis, Illinois, Mr. Stenzel had been a local resident for the last eight years. He was a retired chemical engineer, a U.S. Navy veteran and a Deacon at United Community Church in Sun City Center. He enjoyed his family, golf and Dixieland music. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Gloria; sons, Richard Stenzel, Thomas (Linda) Stenzel; daughters, Barbara Stenzel, Lynne (Tom) Eckerson, Elizabeth (Todd) Hunnicutt; brother, Ronald (Helen) Stenzel; sister, Jean Peddie and six granddaughters. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at United Community Church, Sun City Center.
